Praying with Spirit

surrounding my heart
as a luminous presence that lingers
and slips into a movement
like the morning sun playing hide and seek.
luring secret shadows into light.
The subtle touch awakens an awareness,
expanding as it flows and finds its way
forming a path within my body,
whirling and curling and dancing,
a spiraling energy
swirling in embracing intimacy
with my soul.
I feel the music of love creating
new rhythms of surprise
as we move as one,
entwining and entrancing
my surrender to the dancing.
Light follows light
disappearing from sight,
as Spirit spreads beyond the shores
of form and place and time.
My words are silenced,
and my prayer is answered
with a holy kiss.
