jesus is coming

Jesus Christ specifically told us to pray for His return. "After this manner therefore pray," our Lord commanded, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done..." (Matthew 6:9, 10). This is a prayer for the Second Coming. The apostle Peter also wrote that God's people should look for and "hasten the coming of the day of God" (2 Peter 3:12). Thus Christians can hasten our Lord's return by our prayers.
