Dearest Gwain, I am so sorry for this painful and difficult situation you are facing. I pray deeply for healing on all levels to come, for you, for your wife and son. May God's light shine forgiveness and peace in all hearts, and may the outcome of this settlement bring healing and completion, and be fair and just. With love and blessings to you.

Fairness by: Anonymous
In all fairness I believe that when the house was purchased before your marriage its your and yours to keep. I may get flack from ladies however I believe in fairness and If the woman walks out of a marriage with no apparent reason then she shouldnt ask for the house.
Alot of times men are cheated out of the system. Meaning they lose everything or almost everything when divorces happen. I don't think thats right.
I believe that yes the women should get a fair amount but not so much that it breaks the man. I hope you keep the house. You need another chance at life another chance at love and another chance at marriage.
On the other hand I don't know what broke up your marraige but if you were the big instigator then look at it this way. Look into your heart and if you feel guilty then give her everything.
