Prayers for your son, I'm thinking as I read it, that perhaps, it was a life lesson for him/spiritual awakening, to be out off work that long.

Then find a soul lesson/reasoning and yet an {awakening, for why it happend}and the reasons for it}in hindsight off course.

life transitions for different jobs, that he would be better suited for him, that just werent available at the time he was out off work, and soon there will be.

I hope that helps, its hard to write all this, when I'm a mess myself, and in deeepest pain myself. Yet I hope this helps to bring you peace off mind
