i have had quite a bit of depression in my spiritual path. I am a single mom and there have been so many setbacks with physical injuries and illness. Then to look around and see what is happening in the world, it can feel very overwhelming. My little boy recently got very sick and this has added stress, and sometimes feels like too much to bear. I hope we can pay the bills.
i have found that love helps depression. Being with my family and friends who love me really lifts my spirits. Also laughing helps. i watch funny movies and especially when i can watch them with my friends. My sister is a lot of fun to be with, she really cracks me up. Also, going to temple really helps, the prayers, singing and feeling my religious roots gives me strength and comfort. Love to you all, thank you.
