Prayer can be more effective if you are able to utilize the power of visualization. Please try this; it is your divine heritage. We all have this inner power of the mind but we simply are not aware of it. As you pray, try to see or picture yourself and your boyfriend being surrounded by a radiant white light which is the light of the Christ.If you are not used to this, just keep attempting it, don't give up, and you will find that it becomes easier eventually as the higher aspects of your mind/consciousness are awakened.
