Sister Evelyn, G-d loves you and wants you to prosper. He also wants you to give to G-d what belongs to him--that is 10% of your financial earnings. Sometimes he talks to us in different ways so that we may get closer, seek him and get to know him better and also be BLESSED. When you support a ministry that serves G-d and provide them with 10% of finances--that means you are giving it to G-d; in return, he multiplies your finances and rebukes the adversary from your lifes and covers your table and family as well.
